THE STAR WARS FAN FILM NETWORK
Though it isn’t set to launch until later this year, The Star Wars Fan Film Network is already causing a stir with the legions of the sci-fi classic’s faithful followers. The site, which will be a collaboration between AtomFilms and StarWars.com, will provide an official online outlet for parodies, documentaries, and all manner of film tribute to the “Star Wars” cinematic legacy.
Aside from the attractive community element of the Network, users will also receive access to a library of audio clips to incorporate into their own original works — from Darth Vader breath sounds to Speederbike whirrs. And, as an added perk, selected shorts will receive royalty payments based on advertising revenue generated by the Network, which will be a spotlight feature of AtomFilms.com.
