JOY DIVISION BIOPIC

Depressed goths everywhere whined, moaned and had a mass hissy fit as it was announced music video veteran Anton Corbjin will helm “Control,” a biography of deceased Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis. Samantha Morton has signed on to play Curtis’s wife Deborah who wrote the book “Touching at a Distance” that the film is based on. Shooting will begin next year and there’s no word on who will play Ian Curtis…yet.
