“SIDEWAYS” TEAM GET EXCLUSIVE DEAL

Dear Ndugu,
How are you? We are fine. Just wanted to let you know that director Alexander Payne and screenwriter Jim Taylor have signed a 3 year first look deal with Fox Searchlight. The duo, who hit it big with “Sideways,” also worked together on “Election” and “About Schmidt,” but you already know that.

Since they are indeed working for “the man,” Payne and Taylor have joined forces with producer Jim Burke and have named their company “Ad Hominem Enterprises.” Apparently when translated from Latin, this literally means “the man.” How clever. We hope you are well and hope our 25 cents a month donation has got you some really yummy paste. Watch out for those flies!
