HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY, SPAWN
As of today, you can hold a little bit of comic book history in your hands. Alright, so maybe the last time you heard that phrase you ran out and bought that whole “Death of Superman” thing, and look where that ended up. But the 100th issue of Spawn really is a comic industry landmark — it’s the first Image series to claim such status.
Minor spolier material ahead: The 100th issue finds Angela and Spawn up against the demonic Malebolgia, and…a major female character dies. On the artistic side of things, the talents of Frank Miller, Mike Mignola, Alex Ross and others will be on full display with variant covers. For more from the Spawn universe, see [ the official Spawn website. ]
