THE ‘BUBBLE’ EXPERIMENT CONTINUES
Last weekend marked the debut of Mark Cuban and Todd Wagners distribution experiment with Steven Soderbergh’s “Bubble.” The film is set to hit theaters, DVD and home pay-per-view all at basically the same time. While the film only grossed $72,000 in 32 theaters, it may show that DVD sales for this model will really earn the phat cash. In fact, 100,000 DVD’s have already been shipped to sell on January 31.
