Billy Bob Thornton is in talks to develop “Floyd Collins,” a true story about a Kentucky cave explorer who was stuck in a cave for 13 days in 1925. The story was one of the first large scale media spectacles and seems relevant to the media climate today. The film also sounds like a knock-off of the Billy Wilder classic “Ace in the Hole,” but that movie is tough to find. Yay! If you can’t see it, it must not exist.
