“DARK HONEYMOON” FOR DARYL HANNAH AND ROY SCHEIDER

Alpine Pictures’ Ryan Carroll, Neil Kaufman and Rene Torres will executive produce the upcoming thriller “Dark Honeymoon,” written and directed by David O’Malley (Fatal Instinct) and produced by Michael T. Meltzer (The Hidden).

Principal Photography begins in May 2006 on the thriller, a suspenseful tale of obsession and manipulation about a man who marries a seductive woman after a brief and passionate relationship. But during their honeymoon on the fog-shrouded Oregon coast, he learns the terrible truth about her as those around them begin to die mysterious and violent deaths.

Shooting will be in Southern California.

Cast includes Oscar nominated actors Daryl Hannah (Kill Bill Vol. I and II), Roy Scheider (All That Jazz) and Eric Roberts (Runaway Train) along with Sean Young (No Way Out).

“Dark Honeymoon” is Hannah’s second production with Alpine Pictures. She recently starred in Alpine’s “Love Is the Drug,” a teen dramatic thriller which premiered to rave reviews in Park City earlier this year.
