KUROSAWA AND COPPOLA SHILL FOR SUNTORY
Ah, YouTube. You veritable cornucopia of video crap. You’re like a treasure chest for film and video nerds. We love you. Anyway…over on YouTube, there’s clips of some ads for Suntory whiskey that Akira Kurosawa directed as he worked on “Kagemusha.” The ads are pretty great and the first few feature Francis Ford Coppola enjoying some booze as well. Fun stuff!
