ONLINE AUDITION CONTEST FOR “THE POWER OF FEW”
Steelyard Pictures and iQ Films launched a world wide open audition for the upcoming feature film The Power of Few, starring acclaimed actress Q’orianka Kilcher and directed by Leone Marucci, which will be released in 2007.
In an effort to find undiscovered talent and increase exposure for all those who participate, they are offering one role in the film to the online community. The role is open to men and women of all ethnicities. The deadline for entries is October 10th, 2006.
Hollywood Casting Director Kelly Wagner (The Grudge, Hostel, Exorcism of Emily Rose) is moderating the contest and will be looking closely for that special someone who has yet to be found.

The contest is being powered by www.jumpcut.com, the online movie making website.
Within the online group, participants will find video clips of Q’orianka (reading her lines from the scene) that hopefuls can mix into their own audition (with the Jumpcut editor).
No telling whether any of the Film Threat staff will take a shot at the audition, but Mark Bell is already doing crunches in an effort to lose “those 10 pounds the camera adds”…
