PRINCE NAMOR GETS A GIG
After years of speculation, work has finally begun on a big-screen version of Marvel Comics fave “Submariner.” “Terminator 3″ helmer Jonathan Mostow will write and direct the film which has been on and off again more than Lindsay Lohans underwear. Chris Columbus was set to direct a version of the film in 2004 and Nicolas Cage was long rumored to play Namor.
Since comic book adaptations can apparently only be origin stories, “Submariner” won’t be any different as we catch up with young Namor as he discovers he is really a prince from Atlantis and yadda yadda yadda. Where’s our “Aquaman!”
