CINEMAX TO SHOW WOOKIES IN BONDAGE
Cinemax may best be known for soft-porn in the wee hours of the day, but this November all that changes (well, not really) when Cinemax becomes the first TV channel to show the trainwreck that has become the Star Wars franchise when they air all 6 films back-to-back.
Re-live your hatred for Jake Lloyd, marvel at the creepiness of Hayden Christensen, wonder why Ian McDiarmid’s old-gay-guy-cruising-for-ass performance in Episode III hasn’t been outed and then, right before the suicide attempt, remember how wonderful it felt to learn about the Force, hang out in a swamp with a puppet and throw a huge party with teddy bears when the Empire is finally defeated. Yes, mark November 10, 2006 as the “Day of Emotional Rollercoasting” and suffer like the rest of us will. Oh, and they’ll be in HD where available!!!
