HBO IS PREACHING
HBO is developing a one-hour series based on the Vertigo comic series “Preacher. It is being written by Mark Steven Johnson and Howard Deutch will direct.
For those of your not familiar with the series it is about a Texas preacher who is possessed by a supernatural entity that was born by a angel and a demon. The the preacher sets out with a Irish Vampire and the preacher’s ex girlfriend to find God and hold him accountable for his negligence.
The comic’s creator, Garth Ennis, will executive produce the project…
