Sundance 07 News: SUNDANCE GAME OF “LET’S MAKE A DEAL” HEATS UP
“Waitress,” Adrienne Shelly’s final film, was picked up by Fox Searchlight as was competition feature “Joshua.” Warner Independent jumped into the game by picking up “Clubland” and other deals continue to filter down. Folks in the bizz continue to say this year’s festival is dead, but there’s still a week left and several flicks are off the table.
