Fans of those wild and zany Flaming Lips are going to have a hard time comprehending the latest development for the band: A broadway musical based on the amazing Lips album “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.” What’s even weirder is drug loving, banter happy prime time demigod Aaron Sorkin is writing it.
We can just see it now…”What are you saying?” “Saying?” “Yes…saying.” “I’m saying she uses vaseline.” “Vaseline?” “Yes, vaseline.” And so forth. Suck it Sorkin, leave the Lips alone!
