JACK VALENTI, FORMER LORD OF THE MPAA, DIES AT AGE 85
Former White House aide and mastermind behind the Hollywood movies rating system, Jack Valenti, died Thursday from complications related to a stroke suffered in March. He was 85.
Valenti is best known for his years heading up the MPAA, a post he held from 1966 to 2004. For better or for worse, always controversial, Valenti is the man who made the ratings system what it is today…
