LARS VON TRIER IS SO SAD, HE MAY STOP MAKING FILMS!
Lars Von Trier has certainly made an interesting career for himself, crafting such films as “Dogville” and “Dancer in the Dark,” but he claims he is fighting a battle with depression. The Hollywood Reporter claims, “a period of depression has left him unable to work and he has doubts about when he will return to filmmaking.” Perhaps he finally sat down and watch some of the films he has crafted. Remember how depressing “Breaking the Waves” and “Dancer in the Dark” actually were? Perhaps Von Trier needs to direct a lighthearted comedy to get his mind of things… or maybe even a children’s film. Nothing brings smiles like a nice children’s film.
