It’s been a project rumored to be in the works for years: a big screen adaptation of Paulo Coelho’s beloved bestseller “The Alchemist,” and it appears that the project will finally get underway as a Weinstein Company production, to be directed by Laurence Fishburne. According to Harvey Weinstein, who is personally producing, the film will cost “60 million dollars-plus” and will start shooting by the end of Spring or in the early Summer…
