ROBERT B. WEIDE IN PRODUCTION ON VONNEGUT DOCUMENTARY

Robert B. Weide, who wrote and produced “Mother Night” and is a regular director of Larry David’s endlessly brilliant “Curb Your Enthusiam,” has been filming Vonnegut since 1988. This film will be a nice addition to a recent run of author-themed documentaries, including Alex Gibney’s “Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson,” Erik Nelson’s “Dreams with Sharp Teeth” (on Harlan Ellison), and Peter Askin’s “Trumbo”.
