“FANDOM MENACE” LANDS IN BOSTON
Jeff Cioletti’s film “Millennium’s End: The Fandom Menace” is a labor of love, and dedication, several years in the making. Says the filmmaker:
“In 1997, I kicked off this project, which chronicles the anticipation for Star Wars:Episode I. Shot on a shoestring budget, the documentary features fan interviews and coverage of Star Wars-related events compiled during the two years prior to The Phantom Menace’s May 19, 1999 theatrical US release. The production captures the excitement — and apprehension — among fans as the first new Star Wars film in 16 years drew closer to becoming a reality.”

The film will screen at the Coolidge Corner Theater, which is located at 290 Harvard St. in neighboring Brookline, MA. For tickets, call [ (617) 734-2501 ] .
