“THE BALLAD OF LITTLE ROGER MEAD” IN TUNE
Mark Carter, the writer/director/editor of the goofy short “The Ballad of Little Roger Mead,” has a few thoughts to share about the strapping young lad in question:
“Roger Mead is kinda like Carrie, sans the pig’s blood. He may not have a Christian zealot for a mother, but he does have a disapproving dad. He’s not quite telepathic, but he sure has a knack for the wacky. Watch with wonder as Roger finds the courage to perform his comical ballad at a hometown talent show.”
The short is an official selection for this year’s Slamdance Film Festival, and can currently be seen over at [ AtomFilms. ] Make sure you stay in your seat for all of Little Roger’s performance — it’s a show not to be missed.
