“THE COUNTRY BEARS” IN THE WORKS

By far the weirdest news of the day: Haley Joel Osment, best known to audiences as Cole Sear from “The Sixth Sense” and a do-gooder tyke in the horrible “Pay It Forward” , will loan his voice to the Disney film adaptation of the popular themepark ride, “The Country Bear Jamboree” — a huge hit with the under-six set.
“The Country Bears” will tell the tale of a young bear, raised by humans, who sets out to find his roots/discover himself, and all eight bears in the movie will be portrayed using radio-controlled costumes.
