HYPNOTIC ANNOUNCES $1 MILLION DOLLAR WINNER
First, a little background. From [ November 13th through December 28th, 2000, ] visitors to [ Hypnotic.com ] viewed a batch of 25 semi-finalist films for the Million Dollar Film Festival and narrowed the field down to five by rating the films online. The directors were then asked to submit a script or a written pitch for a feature film that could be completed for $1 million. The five finalist submissions were judged by a swarthy panel of judges during this year’s Sundance Film Festival…
…and the winner is “Bullet in the Brain” by David von Ancken of New York. Director von Ancken has been awarded a $1 million dollar production deal with Universal Pictures and Hypnotic, and he received his fabulous prize at a special awards ceremony in Park City this week.
