“TRIPPING THE RIFT” TO LAUNCH ON SCI FI CHANNEL
The Sci Fi Channel is hard at work putting the finishing touches on their first-ever animated series. “Tripping the Rift” is a CGI-animated show based on an award-winning short of the same name. The show mixes up sexy humor, space battles, and a lead character with a name that you won’t forget any time soon:
“Tripping the Rif”t follows the adventures of The Free Enterprise, a smuggling vessel led by a stumpy purple alien called “Chode” who, along with his group of misfit shipmates, battles arch enemies and new obstacles in space each week.
Thirteen half-hour episodes have been slated for Fridays, beginning in early 2003. In the meantime, check out the Sci Fi Channel site for updates as “Tripping” trips closer to its launch date.
