The Los Angeles Italian Film Awards, a Los Angeles based company dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Italian film and to the support of Italian & Italian-American filmmakers, has opened a new office in Rome, Italy. The opening of the Rome office is a significant milestone for LAIFA, which will now have the ability to implement a fully formed strategic plan to integrate the penetration of its impact on the Los Angeles film industry with the resources offered by the Italian filmmaking community in a cohesive manner.
LAIFA is now in the fifth year of monthly screenings, seminars, special events and more that culminate in an annual five-day film festival honoring the best and brightest of Italian cinema.
