GRAVITATIONAL GUS
|
“Gravitational Gus” is a film even more pointless than Jon Aley’s other short, “The Chicken Whisperer.” In this one, Gus (Aley) is a man who is besieged by the forces of gravity, which leave him unable to function as a normal human being. The film is narrated by Gus in a voice over so annoying you’ll wish gravity was working the opposite way and the character was sent into the sun.
Why this film was ever made is beyond the limits of my reasoning. Hopefully this was one of Aley’s early films because if it isn’t, his future doesn’t look too good from where I sit.
