PHANTOMS
|
A smalltown doctor (Joanna Going) travels to pick up her sister (Rose McGowan) from the airport, comes back, and the whole town is either dead or missing. A sheriff from a neighboring town (Ben Affleck) shows up, and soon all Hell breaks loose, literally. Hot Damn! A full-on gory (relatively) unpretensious horror movie! How long has it taken Dimension to start making these? Unfortunately, the second starts tanking, around the time Peter O’Toole shows up to survey the wreck that is now his carreer. Still, “Phantoms” is far better than it has any right to be.
