“Just Act Normal” is fun for its nonsensical nature, though I’m sure it could turn off more than a few people on account of being awkwardly pointless.

Split into four parts, “Just Act Normal” follows protagonist Leon Black as he is asked for directions to the Peace Pagoda by a young woman who may or may not want to become his slave, then a week later receives a special request via phone call from President George W. Bush, then a year later buys a stuffed horn owl that he becomes intimidated by and wary of and, a month later, finds him in a stranger’s house after getting lost on the way home from the hospital.

Honestly, the popular “what the fuck?” phrase is more than applicable here, but I do so lovingly. If quirk was left to its own devices, “Just Act Normal” would be the natural outcome and… I don’t know how I feel about that.
