THE WINTER GUEST
|
The English guy from the first “Die Hard” movie directs Emma Thompson and her real/reel mother, Phyllida Law, in a film about a bunch of Scots too stupid to come in from the cold (uh, I mean expressing the need for human connection.) The acting’s brilliant, but my girlfriend identified with the movie a little too much, got depressed, we started snapping at each other, and she walked home without me. F–k you, mister “Sheriff of Nottingham”! How about a little more action next time? How about any action? Yippy-yo-ki-yay, Mudder F–k!
