“POV” is a short film shot from the point-of-view of an unseen painting in a gallery as various people pass to and fro, reacting and having life-changing conversations in front of it.
This is an interesting concept that probably would’ve worked better as a music video or experimental film (with a real hidden camera embedded in a real work of art in a real gallery). Unfortunately, as it is, the banal conversations and cliched dialogue between the one-dimensional characters becomes deathly boring after the first two go-rounds. By the fourth, you’re left wondering if anything interesting is going to happen… and when nothing does, it just becomes annoying.
