The two neighbors — one a burly Alpha Male and NRA freak, the other a rather meek fellow who looks like a dentist — would probably do their best to ignore each other, were it not for their pets’ penchant to mix it up on a regular basis. When the timid gent’s boisterous dog finally catches the cute rabbit which belongs to Mr. Soldier of Fortune’s daughter, it forces the terrified dog owner into undertaking a surreptitious mission into his well-armed neighbor’s yard with the spruced up rabbit corpse to attempt a late night ruse. The none too subtle characters in this lighthearted film from Patrick Cadell are more cartoony than real, but then so is the film itself. Mildly comical with an unexpected twist ending, “Killer Pink” doesn’t portray quite the epic battle that consumed the Hatfields and the McCoys, but it’s a lot more fun.
