After a pretty graphic tryst between a pair of pasty-faced young lovers, thugs burst into their shabby love nest and inform the (married) man that he’s going to be punished for his adulterous ways. Out comes a meat cleaver and off come his balls! Ouch! Ouch! But once you get past the old-fashioned neutering job, this film is really about the dangers of letting right wing nuts run the government.
Perhaps the saddest moment in “Extremism Breaks My Balls” is when the lady friend of the now no-balled young sport picks up his severed nuts and puts them in his mouth. Not a pleasant image, I can assure you of that.
Filmmaker Nicolas Debot certainly knows how to hammer home his message. A truly powerful, disturbing little film that you won’t soon forget.
