RUPPY VERSION 2.0
|
“Ruppy Version 2.0″ is about a delusional crack addict (Ad Santell) whose life is a painful, confused blur. His whole existence revolves around getting high. At the same time, we see a battered woman with a young son who’s only trying to survive day-to-day in the relationship with her tormentor. But when the crack addict gets the chance to help the young mother, he seizes the opportunity and provides the jolt of humanity that ties the film together.
Bleak and grimly realistic, “Ruppy Version 2.0″ packs a lot of thought-provoking imagery into eleven minutes of celluloid. A very strong effort.
