Who among us isn’t up for an animated Barbie doll parody of slasher films? Earth Day shows a clever biting knowledge of the genre’s cliches and tosses in Mr. T for good measure. It’s hard not to be amused by a flashback reference to Carrie that features a John Travolta doll for accuracy. Like all slasher films, it knows that if you have premarital sex you will immediately die. Why isn’t Jerry Falwell funding these things? May be too scary and offensive to six year old girls with large collections.
