I hate misleading movie titles. There I was with my pants pulled down around my ass and not even a second of skin graces the screen… except for some dude dancing around in his bikini briefs. Ugh. “Hot Pussy” does, however have a cat getting microwaved.
Animal lovers will most definitely be turned off by this little shot on video piece. I, however couldn’t help but chuckle as the little kitty spun around on the microwave’s rotating plate. What can I say? I guess I’m easily amused.
As wrong as this little piece may sound to you, it’s not as mean-spirited as it sounds. This isn’t a gore flick. There’s no exploding kitty shot. It actually comes off as just a couple of bored guys messing around with their digital camera one afternoon.
The guy in “Hot Pussy”, looking like a mix between Beck and Mike D from the Beastie Boys, innocently comes home to do a little channel surfing and frozen burrito grubbing, but his goddamn cat won’t leave him alone. The little bugger’s there under his feet the moment he gets through the door, all the way up to climbing onto his plate to stick his little nose in the burrito. So, this guy’s merely acting out what I’m sure many a cat owner has dreamed of doing when he finally picks the fur ball up and sticks him in the microwave. And that’s about the entire piece. Simply, a cathartic exercise for those of us who’ve always wanted to blow up the cat.
