TALL GIRL
|
All the quirks of Spike Lee at his most irritating (“School Daze,” say, or “Crooklyn”) are mashed down into a 15-minute jambalaya of garish colors and in-your-face ‘tude. Amalia Zarranz’s “Tall Girl” features a really Tall Girl who plays mean basketball and wants to get with a cute Latino girl’s boyfriend. In a highly inventive plot twist, the girls switch bodies! Try recovering from the shock of that one in time for “Tall Girl” to tell you it’s always better just to be yourself. Yucky.
