SWEET DREAMS
|
Those wacky Russians sure are filled with a sense of humor. This stark black and white short from Russian filmmaker Sergei Davidoff is depressing as shorts get. A small boy is tempted by a birthday cake in the fridge. After feasting on the confection, he is severely beaten by his father. Following beating after beating, the boy hatches a plan to reach heaven by killing himself. The least happy ending for a film you may ever see. If you are considering killing yourself as well, this movie might push you over the edge.
