INTERVIEW WITH SPIKE JONZE
|
This mockumentary short begins with amateur filmmaker Jonah Kaplan getting used to the “record” button on his digital camera. And for some reason he is completely unable to master it. That’s good for us as we see his bumbling effort to get an interview with director Spike Jonze. Of course, he’s actually recording the parts he’s not supposed to. Much to our delight, his series of mistakes escalates along with Jonze’s patience. Yeah, it’s kind of a one joke movie, but that one joke is really, really funny.
