GIVEN A CHANCE…A LITTLE GIRL’S JOURNEY
|
This video tells the story of Kassie Marriner who was born addicted to drugs thanks to a reckless mother, resulting in her cerebral palsy. Through video footage taken of her throughout her continuing childhood, as well as narration by Kassie, we discover how a person can get along with, not only this specific disability, but disabilities in general.
“Given a Chance” is incredibly informative and provides a ray of hope for those with disabilities, It is, however, produced in the way of an educational film, rather than a documentary. It’s like a how-to video for parents with disabled children, or perhaps something shown in schools. There’s nothing wrong with this. Just know that this is not meant for entertainment purposes.
