ADVENTURES IN WILD CALIFORNIA
|
Adventures in Wild California takes a look at our nation’s most diverse landscape through interviews with everyone from skydivers to botanists to conservationists to workers who maintain San Francisco’s Golden Gate bridge. By showing these personal stories we see parts of California that are really only enjoyed by those who like to live on the edge. The filmmakers went to great lengths to take the audience to places that would be too dangerous for couch-bound individuals like me. IMAX movies are about spectacle and it’s really had to make a bad one. In fact, you could film me picking my nose in IMAX and it would be an amazing view of my cavernous nostrils that would leave you spellbound. Well, in theory. Only the real thing can compare to these amazing images on the gigantic IMAX screen.
