“Star Spores” takes the famous duel between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi in “A New Hope” and puts a scientific twist on it. Omeba Wan Flaegella and Lord Div Vider, in a giant petri dish, called the Death Dish, prepare to do battle.
What ends up happening is very clever, with Vider suddenly realizing the trouble he’s now facing. Also of note here is the beginning in the movie theater and the on-screen advertisements. With the largeness of popcorn buckets in movie theaters today, Hutt-sized can’t be too far off. “Star Spores” shows that science can be fun without having to listen to a science teacher and their monotonous enthusiasm on the subject.
