THE BREADBASKET
|
Harry’s having problems staying motivated. He treats his girlfriend like shit and he can’t get his acting career off the ground. But those are all minor problems sprouting from a much bigger one in that Harry cannot stop eating. Try as he may to get himself in shape, his efforts always end with a bigger and more out of control eating binge, even in the face of a glimmer of good fortune as he’s signed to a talent agency.
Filmmaker Matthew Biancaniello plays Harry and provides us with a frightening, yet realistic portrayal of a man whose eating habits eventually drive him insane. “The Breadbasket” makes us realize the major problem an eating addiction is and that it can destroy way more than just a person’s physique.
