RICK AND STEVE, THE HAPPIEST GAY COUPLE IN ALL THE WORLD
|
![]() Year Released: 2000 MPAA Rating: Unrated Running Time: 8 minutes |
Hey, what if Lego people were gay? An amusing thought. The amount of time it takes you move beyond that notion is exactly how long you’ll find Rick & Steve funny. This is the very worst sort of film, a pot-induced cute idea that has absolutely nothing beyond it’s initial premise. The first half of this shows Rick and Steve and their “hilarious” gay lifestyle. Finally, after waaaaaaay too much time goes by, a lesbian couple show up and ask one of them to father their baby. In the glass, Mister. Right now. Ho ho ho.
Naturally the lesbians are as offensive as possible too. The gags are weak, the visuals are amateurish, lost opportunities to actually amuse are instead cast aside in favor of insipid dialogue and uninspired performances. Even Beavis and Butthead would give up on this before the end credits mercifully roll.
