In a quiet close-quarters elevator, an itch develops. It’s small, hardly noticeable to the other passengers, but it bothers the heck out of the woman (writer/director/producer/actress Lisa Fotedar Miller) who’s trying to scratch it any way possible. It’s easy to think that it’s the kind of itch you’d believe it to be, but not with Miller who has become a filmmaker to watch with “A Good Scratch is Hard to Find”. She not only knows what she wants out of her own material, but has a lot of fun with it, and confounds expectations and predictability, especially when the man behind her suddenly introduces himself and offers to scratch her itch. Not every elevator joke has been performed or told, and this one is terrific.
