Wes Coles, the Safety Sarge, wants to make sure that everyone who uses a vehicle with wheels knows how important it is to use a helmet, pads or seatbelt, and he’s conducting his lesson on this DVD.
Rife with stock music, footage and clip art, this short film uses dumb jokes, cheap production values and laughable special effects to get its point across. Know what, though? It works. Kids, the DVD’s target audience, will eat this stuff up. It moves fast, is easy to understand, and the broad humor will appeal to them. Most important of all, they’re likely to remember the lessons taught here.
Parents, if you’re in the market for a safety video your children will relate to, comprehend and enjoy, you can’t go wrong here.
