NEW BOOBS

NEW BOOBS

Tits, breasts, boobs are one of the cornerstones of human sexuality, one of the ultimates in women attracting men. Like flies to a bug zapper, sometimes. In “New Boobs”, a peppy woman (Zoe Lister-Jones), hoping to attract the attention of her downstairs neighbor, who at the moment already has a girlfriend with sizable jungawoogas, decides that she should get a pair for herself.

Director Matthew Bonifacio is fortunate in “New Boobs” not only being about a woman’s right to a new rack, but with his cinematographer, William M. Miller, making this more than just a pleasing comedy. Where Miller lets the light glimmer, in this woman’s house, in muted tones in the breast doctor’s examination room, we’re able to feel these locations, that these places contribute just as much as the situation at hand.

The new AtomFilms Studios has got something major going on here. Comedy that works like comedy should, with humor that reaches out and succeeds. Who knew?
