| WHAT FILMMAKERS ARE SAYING ABOUT RxSM (www.RxSM.org) 'The Self-Medicated Film Expo graciously took me in when I strayed too far from the hullabaloo of SXSW. They screened my short film to an incredibly responsive audience that laughed at all the right places, and then invited me onstage for a Q&A/interview segment that lasted well over 4 times the duration of the film itself. They were even kind enough to hold onto my luggage after I blacked out at the post-screening party, woke up 15 miles away, and had to hitchhike back to the theater the next morning. Trust me, you wanna be apart of this thing'…Jared Varava dir. TUMBLEWEED "In this increasingly crowded marketplace, the RxSM film expo represents a way for small films like ours to reach an audience that we would otherwise be unable to reach. We need the RxSM expo and hope there will be more forums and festivals like it which alongside the more established SXSW give exposure to all kinds of truly independent voices in film"…Matthew Gordon, dir. THE DYNAMITER "Thank God for a film festival like RxSM, it's the perfect home for filmmakers that would otherwise be incarcerated or institutionalized"….Adam Rehmeier, dir.
